Frequently Ask Question about the bus service to Slane from Dublin

1. Do I have to book online to get this Slane Bus Service or can arrive on the day without a booking?

You do not have to book in advance. You can arrive on the day with no pre-booking made.  The advantage of pre-booking is that you will get the discounted fare.  If you arrive on the day with no pre-booking you will be charged €30 return or €20 way one.

2. Can I book a return fare only online in advance to Slane?

It is not possible to book a return from Slane to Georges Quay only in advance. It can be purchase at the bus park in Slane on a demand basis.

3. What happens if I book a return time for the Slane bus and I want to go earlier or later ?

We will be flexible with people in this regard but we have to give priority to people who have turned up at the correct time for their service before we deal with people who are looking to go at different times from what they have booked.

4. Do I have to sign and return a booking to your office for the trip?

No, you do not have to sign or return anything to us when you book online as you have already agreed to our terms and conditions, during the booking process.

5. How long will it take to get to Slane?

The normal travel time is about an hour, however during the peak times the travel time can take up to two hours.

6. Does the coach have a toilet on board?

Unfortunately coaches are not equipped with the toilet.

7. What time the bus leave Slane to go back to Dublin?

The buses will start leaveing from 22:00 up to 00:30.

8. Are you guaranteed a seat on bus at that  time or is there a chance you'll be waiting for the bus to do a round trip?

Buses do not do round trips for Slane on our service.
